Catwalk Photographers

As well as supplying images for publication through this website, we can also supply experienced catwalk photographers to cover fashion show events.

If you are a show organiser, designer, editor, publisher, PR or anyone requiring images of a show, our photographers will work with you to capture high quality images of your event.

Our photographers can also be commissioned to cover large events such as London Fashion Week, Graduate Fashion Week and Pure London. They are covered by public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance for peace of mind.

Commissioning clients get advanced access to our show images prior to them being made available in our library, and there is no per-image usage charge in this case since the commissioning fee will cover use of all images.

For a rough estimate of costs, the fee for covering a single catwalk show ranges from £150 to £500+ depending on the details. To cover an event such as London Fashion Week, where one photographer could cover up to 40 shows over the week, starts from £1500 (and for LFW your publication will need to be accredited by the British Fashion Council).

If you require exclusivity (i.e. images will not be made available in our library) this can be negotiated too. For smaller shows that would not attract interest from our publishing clients we would not offer images through our library in general, and the fee would reflect this.

Note! We are happy to negotiate with clients wishing to enter into a long term business relationship, offer discounts to educational establishments, or for web-only publishing, students, or anyone offering sponsoring or marketing opportunities to us. And for charities we may even be able to offer free coverage.

Please do not hestiate to approach us with your proposal, we are approachable and open to ideas and we will always try our best to give you the results you need even if it means striking an unconventional deal!

Other Image Formats

The images available for download from our library for print are in JPEG format, 300dpi, sized at 2200x3300 pixels (nominal) using the sRGB colourspace. This format will print to approx A4 size at 300dpi.

However, we can supply images in different formats, for example the "50Meg TIFF" format that is widely used in the print industry, or conversion to a custom colourspace. There is a standard charge of £35 per image for this service, on top of the normal usage licence fee.

Commercial Usage

Although our images are intended for rights-managed editorial use, it may be possible to use them in advertising or commercial contexts. This however will require negotiation with all parties involved, which could mean the model(s) and/or thbeir agent, designer, show organiser, venue, governing organisation (for example for London Fashion Week images this would be the British Fashion Council), photographer, photographer's agent etc.

We have successfully negotiated such use previously for an advertising agency.

The costs of commercial usage depend on the intended usage, the scope of use (global/continental/national/local), exclusivity, print or online use, circulation, time limitations or in perpituity etc.

As a very rough guide to costs, a 3-year non-exclusive world-wide, all media licence ranges from about £10,000 to £50,000+ per image.
